Short Description:
Join International Gaudiya Vedanta Trust (IGVT) during the grand Ratha Yatra 2025 from June 27 to July 5 in Puri, Odisha, for a sacred Annadaan mission — Food For Soul. With your support, we aim to distribute over 1,00,000 freshly prepared, sanctified meals (prasadam) to pilgrims, sadhus, and the underprivileged.
By nourishing not only the body but also the soul, you become part of a tradition where food is worship and every meal is a divine offering.
Story:
The Journey of the Lord, The Service of the Soul
Each year, Lord Jagannath, along with Lord Baladev and Devi Subhadra, rides through the heart of Puri in a chariot that carries not only deities but also the faith of millions.
But amidst this ocean of devotion, many come walking barefoot—hungry, thirsty, and seeking mercy.
Food for Soul – IGVT’s Spiritual Outreach
IGVT’s “Food for Soul” is more than a feeding program. It is an extension of Bhakti, rooted in Gaudiya Vaishnav tradition under the guidance of Srila BV Narayan Goswami Maharaj, where food becomes a carrier of compassion and divine grace.
Inspired by the teachings of Mahaprabhu, we serve prasadam, not just to satisfy hunger, but to awaken the soul.
From the railways to the temple lanes, our volunteers serve tirelessly to ensure no devotee goes hungry in the Lord’s presence.
“Feeding even one devotee with love during Ratha Yatra is greater than a thousand rituals done without devotion.”
Your Role in the Divine Feast
When you donate to Food for Soul, you're not just feeding the body — you're honoring a devotee, serving Mahaprabhu, and continuing a lineage of compassionate spiritual service.
Every rupee you offer becomes a ladle of love, a plate of mercy, a step toward spiritual upliftment.
Let Giving Become Your Offering
Whether you walk in the procession or not, your heart can walk with the Lord through your seva.
